Based on a smaller version of the Chevrolet Equinox’s crossover
vehicle platform, 2012 Captiva Sport is being marketed exclusively to business
and government customers. Available in LS, LT and LTZ trim levels, the 2012
Chevrolet Captiva Sport shares a variety of standard features on all models
including power windows, power locks, electronic stability control, XM Satellite
radio and 17-inch aluminum wheels. The LS-trimmed 2012 Captiva Sport come fitted
with a 2.4 liter 4-cylinder producing 182 horsepower. A 264 horsepower, 3-liter
V-6 engine comes the 2012 Chevrolet Captiva Sport LT and LTZ versions. Bluetooth
and OnStar are also found on the Captiva Sport LT models as standard equipment.
LTZ models offer the most upscale accessories onto the 2012 Chevrolet Captiva
Sport that includes leather seating, rearview camera and a sunroof. All 2012
Chevrolet Captiva Sport engines utilize a 6-speed automatic transmission.
